During a wheat shortage in Medina, Imam Sadiq (PBUH) sold his household’s stored wheat and instructed his caretaker to buy daily like others, mixing wheat with barley for bread. Though able to afford pure wheat, he chose moderation and equality, sharing the hardships of society with compassion and humility.
