Deepen knowledge of the Imam and live in accordance with divine teachings.
Purify the heart from sins and worldly distractions to allow the light of guidance to enter.
Strengthen the spiritual bond through prayer, supplication, and speaking to the Imam—even without physically seeing him.
9. The Imam’s Special Assistance
Though usually unseen, Imam Mahdi has never abandoned his followers. Numerous accounts exist of his interventions and assistance in times of hardship.[ix] These instances demonstrate his active, ongoing role in the lives of believers.

Imam Mahdi—whether visible or concealed—remains the divinely appointed guide and guardian of humankind. His occultation does not mean an absence of guidance; rather, it is a test of faith. Benefiting from his presence is like receiving the light of the sun hidden behind clouds. The more believers purify themselves and adhere to divine commands, the more they will draw from the radiant source of his leadership, ultimately finding safety in his ark of salvation and attaining eternal felicity.
