The beginning of the appointment\n(Mab’ath) of the Prophet of Islam to Prophethood is in a way the start of the\nrevelation of the holy Book of the religion of Islam, the Holy Quran. The Holy Quran is a direction and a map to a\npath that humans through sticking to it and to its main teacher, the Prophet of\nIslam (PBUH&HP), will attain their destination. But in order to become\nfamiliar with this everlasting miracle of the Holy Prophet (PBUH&HP), the best\nway would be to refer to this Holy Book. Allah (SWT) who revealed the Holy\nQuran, knows the Holy Quran better than any other creature and He is the most\ndeserving one to describe the Holy Quran; therefore, the best description is\nthe description that Allah says about this holy book:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Clarity and the Clearness of the Holy\nQuran<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Allah the almighty has introduced the\nQuran as bright to the people of the world as such: \u201cO people! Surely there has\ncome to you manifest proof from your Lord and We have sent to you clear\nlight.\u201d(1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The characterization of the Quran as\nbeing bright means that its teachings are guidance and it helps all societies\nfrom darkness, or darkness of manners, or doubt in knowledge, or confusion in\nfinding the right path. (2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mankind\u2019s Salvation in the Holy Quran<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Allah (SWT) has introduced the Quran\nwith the term Tebyan (One which clarifies) has taught everything to human\nbeings. (3) Anything that is beneficial\nto people\u2019s salvation has been recorded in the Holy Quran. If there are any act\nthat can be useful to mankind\u2019s salvation has certainly been provided in this\nHoly Book and also if there are any act that will result in mankind\u2019s life in\natrocities has been ordered to prevent about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Teachers of the Holy Quran<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although the Holy Quran has introduced\nitself as light, and it claims that it contains all that which is necessary for\na person\u2019s salvation, however, such a program and solution in all aspects\ncannot be executed without the presence of a teacher and an interpreter. It is\nupon this that, Allah (SWT) has introduced Himself as the main teacher of this\nHoly Book (4). Since understanding divine concepts is not possible without the\nintercession for normal people, (5) the Holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) who has been\nsent by Allah (SWT) has the position to teach the Quran and clarify all its\nconcepts; and Allah (SWT) has placed the Holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) as the\nteacher of the holy book and wisdom and the interpreter of the Holy Quran, and\nHe has said, \u201c\u2026. (We sent them) with Clear Signs and Books of dark prophecies;\nand We have sent down unto thee (also) the Message; that thou mayest explain\nclearly to men what is sent for them, and that they may give thought.\u201d (6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although man\u2019s wisdom is a strong tool\nfor recognizing the path to salvation and understanding the teachings within\nthe Quran, however it is in no way enough, because a person cannot rely on his\nhuman wisdom alone to attain his everlasting salvation, rather a prophet sent\nby Allah must explain divine teachings.(7)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In summary, the Holy Prophet of Islam\n(PBUH&HP) teaches mankind content which is placed in the access of people,\nwho would not have had access to it in any other manner, and because the\nProphet receives all divine knowledge within the Quran without an intercession,\nthus the responsibility of the interpretation and clarification of this Great\nBook is placed upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HP). (8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So although that the Quran is pure\nlight and clarity, for people to benefit from the concept, it is necessary to\nlearn from the concept from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HP) and his progeny who\nare his true successors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indeed, this is how the Great Prophet\nof Islam, Muhammad Ibn \u2018Abdullah (PBUH), being selected by Allah to guide\npeople, became the bearer and the interpreter of the Holy Quran eternally and\nhe said about this: \u201cBy reaching to the Holy Quran and my Progeny you will\ndrown in the wrong path\u201d (9)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
