A believer who, due to staying in\nArafat and al-Mash\u2019ar, has come to the position of fully getting to know Allah\n(SWT) and has undermined his carnal desires, will not naturally hesitate to\nsacrifice whatever exists on his way in order to get close to his Creator even\nif that being is his endeared son, life, and desires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nevertheless, Allah (SWT) out of\nkindness and in consideration of His servant\u2019s weakness, is content with the\nsacrifice of an animal and accepts it as symbol of self-sacrifice in His way\nprovided that the servant, by sacrificing this animal, sacrifices his bestial\ninclinations such as greed, jealousy, love of position and fame, mischief,\npessimism, and other vices, saying with firmness:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSurely I have\nturned myself, being upright, wholly to Him Who originated the heavens and the\nearth\u201d (1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While doing this, he should remember\nthe Holy Quranic Verse:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNeither their\nmeat nor their blood ever reaches Allah, but it is your Piety which reaches\nHim” (2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This means that only pious persons,\nwho love Allah (SWT), show a part of their purity of hearts and the secret of\nworshiping of Allah (SWT), by sacrificing of the animal. These persons achieve\nthe position of nearness to Allah (SWT), and gain Divine dispensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Allah (SWT) truly seeks His servant\u2019s\npiety and this virtue cannot be obtained save by killing carnal desires and\nSatanic temptations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd as for him who fears\nto stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires.\nThen surely the garden that is the abode.\u201d (3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That scary and fierce animal, lived in\nhuman soul and moved all the time, turn everywhere for satisfying his lust and\ndo every criminal doing to achieve his goals, must be sacrificed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This dangerous animal is laying in\nhuman way and does not let him to become closer to Allah (SWT) and achieve\nwelfare. Destroying and sacrificing this animal is the genuine sacrifices and\nis his tool to achieve the position nearness to Allah (SWT), not only killing\nan animal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When a person who is trained by\nreligious instructions and Divine knowledge, removes the carnal desires and\nsatanic temptations which are similar to a big obstacle between he and Allah\n(SWT), the way to Allah (SWT) would be opened and the pure heart of him will be\nprepared for saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSurely I have\nturned myself, being upright, wholly to Him Who originated the heavens and the\nearth\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
