She found herself close to welfare.\nHer biggest wish for her life was going to be happened. The happiness\ninfiltrated her restless heart and included her house and business office. Soon\nthis happiness passed through whole houses and communities in Mecca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The news about the marriage between\nProphet Muhammad (PBUH&HP) and Lady Khadijah (PBUH) caused different\nresponses. Some were happy with this union and some were not. Those who\nconsidered the superficial values such as wealth and power, as the only factor of\nsimilarity and balance in the life, blamed the sage and open-minded lady. They\nsaid that how could such a perfect wealthy lady and independent girl who was\nthe owner of a huge commercial office, get prepared to marry with a young\norphan who had not a great wealth though he had all the best human\u2019s moralities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hearing these unaware and envious\nmurmurs, she gave a big party to clarify her wise, suitable and important\ndecision and to defend her main support, Muhammad (PBUH). She invited numerous\ngirls and women and addresses them during dinner:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cO! Ladies, I heard that\nsome of you questioned my decision to marry Muhammad. I want to ask you whether\nthere is any better and exalted man than this young man in Mecca, Hijaz and\neven whole world? Do you know any person better than him in humanity, virtue,\ngenerosity, wisdom, broadmindedness and freedom? Everyone has several wishes,\nideal and conditions in marriage and I am fascinated by his perfection,\nmagnanimous, thought and good manner. Unaware cavil, people\u2019s envy and\nmaliciousness could not stop me and I see myself successful and exalted in my\nlife.\u201d(1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By hearing this clarifying speech, the\nfamous ladies of Hijaz kept silent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Based on this insight, Lady Khadijah\n(PBUH) did not withhold any devotion to the way of the Great Prophet of Islam\n(PBUH&HP) until her death. Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (PBUH) is the result of\nthis marriage. A selection which was based on wisdom and thought could have\nsuch a great result. What is\/was our main criterion for marriage?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
