Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) said: \u201cThere\nis no calamity which does not involve a blessing from Allah.\u201d 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The issues of \u201cMonotheism in Worship\u201d\nin its best manner, and the \u201cFear from the Resurrection Day\u201d are of the\nsignificant characteristics of the family of infallibility and purification,\nthe Ahl al-Bait. One of the companions of Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) narrates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018On one of the\ndays during Imam Hassan Askari\u2019s (PBUH) childhood, I noticed he was standing\nwith children of his same age. The other children were busy playing, while the\nImam (PBUH) was standing in a corner crying (this was the first time I had seen\nhim). I thought that perhaps the reason for his sadness was because he did not\nhave toys like the other children. I approached him, expressed my kindness, and\nsaid: \u201c\u2026 I\u2019ll buy you some good toys.\u201d He looked at me with an angry face and\nsaid:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are not\ncreated to play!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was shocked by his words, such\nimmense knowledge and such remarkable logic!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2026 So I asked\nhim: \u201cWhat are we created for?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c[We are\ncreated] to know [Allah (SWT)] and worship [Him]\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amazed by his replies, I asked: \u201cWhere\nhave you got that answer from?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Allah (SWT) has said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Did you\nthen think that We had created you in vain, and that you would not be brought\nback to Us? 2”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I realized that his logic was based on\nwisdom and the Holy Quran. I was ashamed of what I had thought. Then, I said:\n\u201cWhy are you crying, while you are still a child and have not committed any\nsins?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His cry intensified, and he said:\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhenever my\nmother wants to make fire with big pieces of firewood, she first puts some\nsmall pieces of wood on fire, and then uses them to flame the big pieces of\nwood. My worries are from being of those small pieces of firewood for the\nhellfire\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There, I understood that he is\nextremely distant from me. I departed from him while astonished. Later on, I\ncame to know who that child was and to which family he belonged\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
