Misconducts and mistakes may have many\ndifferent excuses and reasons. For example, failure to practice proper hijab\nmay arise from different matters, including not understanding the philosophy of\nhijab and its impact on corruption; or living in an area where its people are\nignorant to the idea of hijab; or they may feel that lack of hijab is a way to\nadvance and modernization; or they would like to differ and stand out from\nother people; or they may feel not performing hijab in a good way is a minor\nsin, and cannot hurt any other; and the reasons can go on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those who want to prevent this issue\nof neglecting hijab, should first analyze the underlying problems, and find\ndefinite solution to each issue. So while \u201cforbidding evil\u201d is the responsibility of each and every one\nof us, requires consideration of professional knowledge from its psychological,\nsocial, and artistic point of view. Therefore we are all responsible to refer\nto knowledgeable and caring specialists to teach us the correct manners of\n\u201cInviting good\u201d and \u201cforbidding evil\u201d. Moreover the scholars and thinkers of\nthe community should be among the inviters to good and forbidders of evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When at times we realize that the act\nof \u201cforbidding evil\u201d is not having an impact, we must not only blame those\nperforming it. This act is similar to when one prescription for different\nillnesses cannot be effective in curing. Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Quran:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026 It is not\nrighteousness that you enter the houses from the back but righteousness is to\nfear Allah and to enter houses through their proper doors\u2026\u201d(1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the most important messages of\nthis verse is that: there is particular path, time and leader for each task.\nWhen performing a task, one should consider the conditions and pick the\nsolution accordingly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To clarify this point we can benefit\nfrom a narration from Imam Jawad (PBUH). He says: \u201cThe one who is unaware of\nthe correct way and condition to start a task, will have a difficulty\ncompleting it\u2026\u201d (2) If we contemplate this saying of Imam Jawad (PBUH), we can\nsee that this wise saying contains a fundamental and essential principle which\ncan be applied to every aspect of our life. Considering this saying in\neconomical, social and cultural activities can lead to very positive results.\nTherefore, understanding the correct way of \u201cforbidding evil\u201d is indeed one of\nthe examples of this wise saying. Imam Jawad (PBUH) is trying to teach us, each\nact of \u201cinviting to good\u201d and \u201cforbidding evil\u201d has a very particular method of\nperformance; if the correct method is not applied, it may only cause negative\nand unexpected results for the one receiving the advice. Further, it can cause\ndifficulty for the one performing the advice as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let\u2019s pray and hope that our act and\ninteraction may not become a cause of hate toward the religion of Allah (SWT)\nfor others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
