He was from Khurasan. He had travelled\na long way and suffered a lot to reach his destination; because he was walking\nbarefoot. His shoes were worn out, his feet were cracked, and his heels were\nsplit. When he reached Medina, he directly went to see Imam Baqir (PBUH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As soon as he met with the Imam\n(PBUH), he thanked Allah (SWT) for achieving his goal. When Imam Baqir (PBUH)\nnoticed his inured feet, he asked the man,\u201d What is this?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The man replied,\u201d O son of the\nMessenger of Allah! I have travelled along way. O swear to Allah (SWT) that\nnothing made me leave my hometown but my love for you, the Ahl al-Bait (PBUT)\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Imam Baqir (PBUH) responded to the man\nfrom Khurasan by saying,\u201d Glad tidings to you! I swear to Allah (SWT) that you\nwill be resurrected with us\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The man asked in shock,\u201d O son of the\nMessenger of Allah! With you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Imam Baqir (PBUH) replied,\u201d Yes! No one\nloves us (the Ahl al-Bait (PBUT)) except that Allah (SWT) will resurrect him\nwith us. Is religion anything other than love? Allah (SWT) has said,\u201d Say: If\nyou love Allah, then follow me (the Messenger of Allah), so that Allah will\nlove you (too) (1)\u201d\u201d (2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indeed the fact that everyone will be\nresurrected with whatever he loves has been emphasized in many narrations. For\nexample, it is narrated in a Hadith that if a person loves a piece of rock, he\nwill be resurrected with it on the Day of Judgment (3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Based on these sayings, it is evident\nthat human choses and shapes his life and destiny himself; in other words,\nhuman is not like natural objects. Whatever is in the nature is as it was\ncreated, and has no choice. But human beings are as they want to be. Therefore,\nif a person loves something, and this love somehow penetrates his soul and\naffects his actions, according to the saying of Imam Baqir (PBUH), he will be\nresurrected with the very same thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
