The more ambitious a person is in\nachieving his clear and cut goal, the less obstacles and difficulties are able\nto discourage him from reaching his goal. Such person is not a quitter, and\nwill go to extreme lengths to achieve his goal firmly and tirelessly. On the\nother hand, the person who has not reached certainty toward his goal and is\ndoubtful, is searching heavily to find the slightest problems to prevent\npursuing his goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the day of Ashura, Hussain (PBUH)\nwatches the body of his companions on the ground as he enters the battlefield;\nhowever, neither the loss of his children and brothers nor observing the corpse\nof his martyred companions, which he could not remove from the battlefield,\ndidn\u2019t make him to desire the battle any less. In such condition, Hussain\n(PBUH) has a high spirit and passionate to fight the enemy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the people, who were present in\nKarbala and had seen Hussain ibn Ali (PBUT) in the last few hours of the\nbattle, describes the spirit of Imam (PBUH) in surprise,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI swear to\nAllah (SWT) I have never seen a man who has lost his children and family\nmembers in a battle and yet be as brave heart, persistent, courageous and as\nfearless as Hussain (PBUH), neither in the past nor after the battle in\nKarbala. Despite being heavily wounded and thousands of soldiers had surrounded\nhim, when he attempted to attack with his sword, the enemy would run off like\nherds of sheep and empty the battlefield\u2026 Once he scattered the soldiers, he\nwould go back to his original spot and say, \u2018There is no change and power\nexcept from Allah, the Most High and the Great.\u201d(1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2026 Hussain (PBUH)\nwas the only one you could feel in this land full of enemies. In the heart of\nenemy\u2019s army, at each moment there were a number of soldiers in front of his\nsword. Arrows were thrown toward him like rain. At one moment an arrow hit the\nforehead of Hero of Karbala. Imam Hussain (PBUH) pulled the arrow out with his\nhand but his blood poured on his provoked face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the blood covered his face, he\ncould not see the enemy well enough. He attempted to wipe the blood with his\nshirt, but was struck in the heart with another arrow. As a consequence of the\narrow the entirety of all that love and faith, and the embodiment of all that\nglory and sacrifice fell to the ground. The enemies all gathered and each\nindividual would strike Hussain (PBUH) and he fell on the ground of Karbala. As\nhe breathed his last moments he said, \u201cO Lord! I am satisfied with Your decree,\nand no one is worthy of worship but You.\u201d(2) His face shone with divine love as\nhe was getting close to martyrdom. Hilal ibn Nafi\u2019 was standing by Umar Sa\u2019ad.\nWhen he heard of Hussain\u2019s (PBUH) fall, he ran towards Hussain (PBUH). He\ndescribes the scene as such, \u201cI saw Hussain (PBUH) as he was dying. By Allah I\nhave not seen anyone so covered with blood, and yet very beautiful as Hussain\nibn Ali (PBUT)! His face full of light and beauty made me forget my thoughts of\nkilling him!\u201d(3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hussain (PBUH) stared at the sky with\nhis eyes covered in blood, and supplicated to his Lord. And after a few moments\nthis pumping heart stops, and everything began anew. Hussain (PBUH) the Master\nof Martyrs only had a birth, for he has not died. His martyrdom was indeed a\nred birth. In Karbala nothing ended. This was an end to a new beginning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
