History has witnessed many amazing\nworships from devoted and faithful people to Allah (SWT). However, the worship\nof a great young lady has added significant beauty to the rest of worships and\nit has become an honor for the rest of worshippers. Her worships are described\nin the following manner:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is no worshipper like Fatimah\n(PBUH) in this world; her foot had swelled because of standing for prayers (1).\nIndeed, what has been narrated about Lady Fatimah\u2019s worship and prayer is far\nbeyond what we have seen or heard of other worshipers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is impossible for anyone to\ndescribe the quality and quantity of her worships in words except for Allah\n(SWT) and His especial selected servants. In order to recognize the greatness\nof Lady Fatimah\u2019s prayer it is enough to note that the Creator of the universe\npraises and regards the worships of Fatimah (PBUH) and her husband, Ali (PBUH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the Prophet\u2019s migration from\nMecca to Medina, Ali Ibn Abitalib (PBUH) accompanied Lady Fatimah (PBUH) and a\nnumber of other women and some weak people to migrate to Medina in a small\ncaravan according to what the Prophet had ordered him. The infidels of Mecca\nwho had failed to capture the Prophet in his migration decided to take family\nas captives as an alternative to catch him. Nonetheless, Amir al-Mu\u2019minin\u2019s\n(PBUH) bravery kept their goal as illusive as it was. The caravan reached\nMedina safe and sound after a number of battles during the path from Mecca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HP) rushed\nto see Ali and Fatimah (PBUT) with indescribable happiness. He hugged Ali\n(PBUH) and said: \u201cBefore you arrive, the angel Gabriel descent on me and told\nme all about your journey; he told me all about your prayers on the way; your\nlate night and continuous worships; your thought and ponderings and your\nbattles on the way until here. Gabriel brought these verses from the Gracious\nGod:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018Those who\nremember Allah standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think\ndeeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): “Our\nLord! You have not created this without purpose, glory to You! Give us\nsalvation from the chastisement of the Fire.\u2019 (2)\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The spiritual scent of these verses\nmade Ali and Fatimah (PBUT) forget about the long and exhausting trip they had.\nFor Allah (SWT) had accepted their continuous prayers, worships, remembrance\nand ponderings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The quality of her devotion to Allah\n(SWT) was incomparable; as Fatimah al-Zahra (PBUH) worshiped Allah (SWT) in\nevery moment of her life and worship was rooted in her daily life. Her deeds,\nwords, glances, efforts, breaths and all of her day and night were worships.\nEvery night, Zahra\u2019s (PBUH) home was her prayer rug; after putting the children\nto bed and finishing the housework, she stood for praying so long so that her\nfeet were sore and swollen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first night of her marriage is\nnarrated as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ali (PBUH) found his wife in tears, he\nthen sought the cause of it, Zahra (PBUH) responded, \u201cI thought of my state in\nthe end of this life and in purgatory, since the transition from my father\u2019s to\nmy own house reminded me of my transition to the grave. By the grace of Allah\n(SWT), let\u2019s rise for prayer in the first hours of our married life and spend\nthe night in worshiping the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indeed, in the sweetest and most\nmemorable moment of her life, the very example of human excellence and the gems\nof women in heavens and on earth, Zahra (PBUH) remembers the reason of her\ncreation and asks her husband to accompany her in spending the night seeking\ncloseness to Allah (SWT). And the day after, when Prophet Muhammad\n(PBUH&HP), asks the commander of faithful believers, Imam Ali (PBUH), \u201cHow\ndid you find your spouse?\u201d, Ali (PBUH) does not waste a split second and\nanswers immediately \u201cthe best companion and aide in obeying and worshiping\nAllah\u201d. This is how the personality of Zahra (PBUH) is presented in the view of\nImam Ali (PBUH), at the first night of their marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
