Why has the issue of the return of the\nImams (PBUT) (Raj’ah) not been mentioned clearly by Allah (SWT)?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The return of the Imams (PBUT) to this\nworld, also referred to as Raj’ah, is one of the beliefs that the Shiites hold.\nReference to this belief can also be found in the Holy Quran, where a group of\nverses discuss the possibility of returning to this world after death, and\nanother group of verses specifically remind the factualness of Raj’ah. For\ninstance, in the 83rd verse of Chapter 27, Allah (SWT) says: “And\n(remember) the day when We will gather from every nation a party from amongst\nthose who rejected Our revelations, then \u2026”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Clearly, this verse is discussing the\nfact that certain people from amongst each nation will be gathered. Is this\nverse referring to the resurrection on the Day of Judgment? The prior and the\nfollowing verses of verse 83, precede the verses that refer to the final\nresurrection day. The Day of Judgment is introduced four verses later in the\nchapter: “And (remember) the day when the trumpet shall be blown\n\u2026”(1) (The Holy Quran, 27:87). Blowing the Trumpet is one of the events\nwhich will take place at the beginning of the Day of Judgment, place before the\nresurrecting and gathering of mankind. Indeed, if the terminology of\n“gather” mentioned in verse 83 was a reference to the Day of\nJudgment, chronologically it would have sounded logical if verse 83 was stated\nafter verse 87.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
More importantly, the Holy Quran also\nstates the fact that on the Day of Judgment, all the mankind without exception\n(from the first humans down to the last individual who lived on earth) will be\nresurrected (2). However, verse 83 refers to the rising of only a certain group\nfrom amongst each nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the above argument, it can be\nconcluded that verse 83 of the 27th chapter of the Holy Quran refers to an\nevent which will take place before the resurrection day. In that event a group\nof deceased people will return to life, and then some specific events will\noccur; this concept is referred to as Raj’ah. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is noteworthy to mention that the\nverses of the Holy Quran broadly state the fundamentals and principles. But we\nmust also consider the fact that according to the Holy Quran itself, the verses\nneed a clarifier and an interpreter to explain the fundamentals and declare the\ndetails of the beliefs (3). The true interpreters of the Holy Quran are Prophet\nMuhammad (PBUH&HP) and his successors, the Infallible Imams (PBUT). This\ncan be easily proven by the Holy Quran itself. \nFor example, in the Quran Allah has commanded us to perform Salat;\nhowever, the specific method of Salat can be extracted from the traditions of\nProphet Muhammad (PBUH&HP) and that of the Infallible Imams (PBUT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, the concept of Raj’at is\nbroadly mentioned in the Quran; yet, the clarification and descriptive details\nare seen through the traditions of the Infallibles (PBUT).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
