In reply to this question, we will\nprovide several verses from the Holy Quran, which are actually a representation\nof Muslim beliefs about Allah (SWT). It is noteworthy to mention however, that\nthe principles of theism all derive from intellectual and rational reasoning.\nThese principles have been confirmed and verified by the Holy Quran too.\nMoreover there are various verses which apply the conclusions of these\nprinciples for the purpose of reminding mankind. In this excerpt we will try to\nonly touch on a few of these conclusions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a) “Say: He, Allah, is Unique and\nOne” (1); “\u2026 and He does not have a partner in His kingdom and ownership\n\u2026” (2). Therefore, Allah (SWT) is One and He does not have a partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
b) “They said: ‘Allah has taken a\nson! He is free (from any defect and need)! He is self-sufficient! His are what\nis in the heavens and what is in the earth! You do not have any reason for this\nclaim! Do you attribute to Allah what you do not know?! ” (3) – “He\ndid not beget, nor was He begotten …” (4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As stated in the verse, Allah (SWT)\ndoes not have any son, nor was He born of a father; he is also free from all\ndefects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
c) “\u2026 and Allah is able to do all\nthings.” (5)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And thus, Allah (SWT) has an unlimited\npower. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
d) “\u2026 Allah who is the knower of\nthe unseen and things to the weight of a particle in the heavens and the earth\nare not hidden from Him, and neither less than that nor greater \u2026” (6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The knowledge of Allah (SWT)\nencompasses all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
e) “(He) is Allah (the God) who\nall the needy people seek Him.” (7)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to this verse Allah (SWT) is\nnot in need of anything\/anyone, rather all the needy people seek Him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
f) “Allah is the Creator of all\nthings and He is the Guardian and Watcher of everything.” (8) So Allah\n(SWT) is the creator of all the creatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“\u2026 nothing\nis like him\u2026” (9)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Therefore one cannot compare Allah\n(SWT) to any of His creations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
From what was mentioned above, we come\nto this conclusion that the Lord whom the Muslims love, is the creator of\neverything and everyone; yet he was not born of a parent, nor does He have a\nson. Allah \u2013 the God of Muslims \u2013 has\nunlimited power, and nothing is hidden from His knowledge. He is free from all\ndefects and need; furthermore all the needy people ask their need from Him. He\nis Unique and there is no identical existence to be His partner. As He is the\ncreator and all else fall under His creations, He is not comparable and cannot\nbe compared to His creatures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
