He then sent a letter to Imam Muhammad Taqi al-Jawad (PBUH) and summoned him respectfully and honorably acknowledging his knowledge and superiority.<\/p><p>The elders of the Abbasid Dynasty immensely disagreed with this matter because the Imam was not only from the\u00a0<em>Hashemi<\/em>\u00a0tribe, but he was also a child.\u00a0\u00a0Ma\u2019moon however convinced the Abbasids through arranging a debate between the contemporary scholars and Imam Jawad\u00a0(PBUH). He set up an enormous debate session. After the Abbasids saw the Imam defeat all other scholars, they had no other choice, but to agree with Ma\u2019moon suggestion.<\/p><p>Imam Jawad (PBUH) has explained the possibility of being a child and yet a representative of Allah\u00a0(SWT)\u00a0who defends the religion of Allah\u00a0(SWT)\u00a0through the Holy Quran, and logical and scientific reasoning.<\/p><p>Ali ibn Asbat narrates: One day when the child Imam Jawad\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0was coming towards me, I deeply stared at him to memorize his appearance. I wanted to describe him for my friends when I returned to my town.<\/p><p>Imam Jawad\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0interrupted my thoughts as he sat and said: \u201cAllah\u2019s\u00a0\u00a0representative (<em>Hujjat)<\/em>\u00a0in Imamat is similar to His representative in Nubuwwat.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Allah in Quran says: \u2018And We gave him the command for prophethood in childhood\u2019 (the Holy Quran,\u00a019:12.\u00a0\u00a0He also says: \u2018When Yusuf attained his full manhood, We gave him power and knowledge\u2019 (the Holy Quran,\u00a012:22).\u00a0\u00a0Furthermore He says: \u2018And when he reached the age of full strength and attained forty years\u2019 (the Holy Quran, 46:15).<\/p><p>So, he deserves to be offered wisdom in childhood, as he is in the age of forty.\u201d<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>(Selected from: The History of 14 Infallibles, by Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Majlesi, with some changes)<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The passage describes how, after Imam Reza\u2019s (PBUH) martyrdom, Caliph Ma\u2019moon summoned young Imam Jawad (PBUH) to Baghdad, recognizing his divine knowledge.
