After he performed the Hajj rituals, he visited Imam Sadiq\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0and said, \u0093I was a Christian, and I have converted to Islam.\u0094\u00a0Imam asked, \u0093What did you see from Islam?\u0094<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">He replied, \u0093The word of Allah which says \u0093<strong><em>you did not even know what the Book and Faith was, but We have made the Quran as a light by which We guide whoever of Our servants We want.<\/em><\/strong>\u0094<sup>\u00a0(1)<\/sup><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Imam Sadiq\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0said, \u0093Truly Allah has guided you.\u0094 Then he prayed for him for three times, \u0093O God, guide him\u0094. Then the Imam addressed him, \u0093Ask about whatever you want, young man\u0094.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Zakaria said, \u0093My parents are Christians, and my mother is blind, should I stay and live with them?\u0094 Imam Sadiq\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0said, \u0093<strong>Take care<\/strong>\u00a0of your mother, and be\u00a0<strong>kind<\/strong>\u00a0to her, when she deceases undertake the burdens of her burial by yourself, and do not hand it over to others.\u0094<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Zakaria says, \u0093When I returned to Kufah, I treated my mother very kindly, I fed her myself, washed her clothes, and served her. One day my mother told me, \u0091Dear son! when you were Christian, your treatment towards me was not like this. How has your behavior changed since you turned to this new religion?\u0094<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I answered, \u0093One of the descendants of our prophet has ordered me to do so.\u0094<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">My mother asked, \u0093Is he a prophet?\u0094<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I said, \u0093No, he is the son of one of the prophets.\u0094<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">My mother said, \u0093My son! This man is a prophet, because his order is the advice of the prophets.\u0094<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I said, \u0093Mother, my prophet is the last prophet, and after him, no prophet will be appointed. That man is the son of that prophet.\u0094\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">My mother said, \u0093Your religion is the\u00a0<strong>best religion<\/strong>, present it to me.\u0094 And I presented Islam to her, and taught it to her; and she converted to Islam too, and performed the prayers of the noon, and the afternoon, and the Maghrib, and the evening.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Zakaria says, \u0093In the night, my mother showed a symptom, and got sick. She turned to me and told me, \u0091My son, repeat what you taught me.\u0092 And I repeated them. My mother testified to them, and passed away.\u0094<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The next day, Zakaria ibn Ibrahim preformed prayer to her mother\u0092s corpse according to the order of Imam Sadiq\u00a0(PBUH), and buried her.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Imam Sadiq\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0advised Zakaria about her\u00a0<strong>Christian mother<\/strong>\u00a0as such. Now, how is our today\u0092s relation to this advice by the Imam?
