And then Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0called upon the enemies to fight him and said,\u201d\u00a0Martyrdom<\/strong>\u00a0is better than getting\u00a0humiliated<\/strong>, and\u00a0humiliation<\/strong>\u00a0is better than entering the\u00a0Hellfire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

One of the narrators says,\u201d I had never seen a man who had lost his children and companions and had suffered so much pain and difficulty, but still entered the battlefield with courage and challenge the enemies. It got to a level that the enemies attacked him as a group, but he fought them back with his sword and the enemies ran away like a flock of animals\u201d.<\/p>\n

Imam Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0at times\u00a0attacked the condensed lines of the thirty thousand army of enemies, destroyed them, and made them scattered. Then he returned to his place and said,\u201d\u00a0There is no power and strength except with Allah, the Exalted and Great<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The narrator says,\u201d Imam Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0used to fight continuously until the enemies separated between him and his family.<\/p>\n

Imam Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0called upon them and said,\u201d Vow on to you, O followers of the family of Abi Sufyan! If you do not have a religion or do not fear the Hereafter,\u00a0at least be free men in this world<\/strong>\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Shimr said,\u201d What are you saying, O son of Fatimah?\u201d<\/p>\n

Imam Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0replied,\u201d What I am saying is that I am fighting you and you are fighting me; but the women have no sin, so stop your dissolute, rebellious, ignorant men from attacking my family as long as I am alive\u201d.<\/p>\n

Shimr said,\u201d You deserve this\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

When Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0got so many wounds, Salih bin wahab hit him strongly with his sphere, and Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0fell down from his horse on his right cheek; while he was saying,\u201d\u00a0In the name of Allah, by Allah, and on the path of the Messenger of Allah\u2026<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

Shimr screamed,\u201d What are you waiting for about this man?\u201d So the army attacked him from every direction.<\/p>\n

Hilal ibn Nafi says,\u201d I was with the army of Umar ibn Sa\u2019ad when someone called,\u2019 Glad tidings O commander! This is Shimr who has killed Hussain\u201d.<\/p>\n

He says,\u201d I stood besides Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0in between the lines of the army as he was in his last moments. I swear to God that I had never seen a person covered in his own blood whose face was\u00a0more beautiful\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0shining<\/strong>\u00a0than Hussain. His beauty and his shining face stopped me from thinking about his killing\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

After Imam Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0was martyred, according to the narrator,\u201d The enemies preceded one another in looting the tents of the family of the Messenger of Allah\u00a0(PBUH&HP); it got to a level that they took away the cover on the shoulders of the women. At this point, daughters of the Messenger of Allah\u00a0(PBUH&HP)\u00a0came out while they were crying and mourning over the loss of their loved ones\u201d.<\/p>\n

The narrator continues,\u201d Then they took the looted, barefoot women out of the tents as captives and put the tents on fire.<\/p>\n

The women said,\u201d We ask you by Allah to take us to where Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0was killed\u201d.<\/p>\n

When the women saw the dead bodies, they screamed and scratched their faces\u201d.<\/p>\n

Then he says,\u201d I swear to God that I will never forget that Zainab\u00a0(PBUH), daughter of Ali\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0, was mourning over Hussain\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0, and she recited with a sad voice:\u201d O Muhammad\u2026\u201d\u201d<\/p>\n
