After a while it was found at the possession of a Christian man.<\/p><p>Amir al-Mu\u2019minin\u00a0(PBUH), who was the ruler of the society, took the Christian to the judge and claimed the armor. He said: \u201cThis armor is mine; I have neither sold it, nor that I have given it as a present. And now I have found it at the hands of this man.\u201d<\/p><p>The judge said to the Christian man: \u201cThe caliph asserted his claim. What is your word?\u201d<\/p><p>The Christian man replied: \u201cThis armor is mine. At the same time I don\u2019t deny the claim of the caliph (he might have made a mistake).\u201d<\/p><p>The judge turned to Ali\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0and said: \u201cYou are the complainant, and this man denies the claim. Now, it is you who should bring a witness.\u201d<\/p><p>Amir al-Mu\u2019minin\u00a0(PBUH)\u00a0smiled and said: \u201cThe judge is right. It is me who should bring a witness.
