??? ???????????? ?? ?? ??????????? ????

It is Eid ul-Ghadir once more. And Shias around the world gather to celebrate this important event. They are especially kind to each other on this day. They put an extra effort to help the needy and spread joy to all around them, even more so than they do on other Islamic holidays. Critics complain and argue that upholding this day above other holidays only further divides the Muslim Ummah. They wonder how the repetition of statements such as “whoever I am his Mawla, after me Ali is his Mawla” can help the already divided Muslim Ummah. Books after books have been written by Sunni and Shia scholars, arguing about the event of Ghadir, interpreting the words stated by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HP), and analyzing the Quran verses related to this day.

Eid ul Ghadir is much more than a mere celebration of who gets to rule the Muslim Ummah first. ?????? ?? ? ??????? ?? ????. ??? ???? ???? ???? ???? ???????? ?? ???? ???,??? ??????? ?? ??? ??? ?? ??????? ????????’? (????&??) ????? ?????????? ?? ?????. On that day the Prophet was stopped by Angel Jibraeel and ordered to give this one final message. The one message left before Allah declares Islam complete:
“Messenger! Deliver what has been revealed to you from your Lord; and if you do it not, then you have not delivered His message, and Allah will protect you from the people; surely Allah will not guide the unbelieving people (al-Maeda, 5:3)”.
Sunni and Shia scholars have related this verse to the Hadith of Ghadir.

And once the message was delivered by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HP), once the Muslims paid their allegiance to Ali ibn Abi Tabib, Angel Jibraeel delivered the final verse: “This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favor unto you” (al-Maeda, 5:67).

So Eid ul Ghadir is the event in which Shias renew their vows with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Ali (PBUH). Allah created the first man to be a prophet, showing that he designed this world in a way where people are not left without guidance. Once he sealed the door of prophethood, He selected people to protect that seal. The line of Imam Ali, and his sons trace directly back to that of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HP). Their narrations come directly from Prophet Muhammad who passed on his legacy to them. Allah has purified them a complete purification (Quran 33:33) and has ensured the protection of his religion through them. They are the manifestations of kindness. They are complete human beings that we can look unto as examples for our lives. Having such leaders prevents Shia from falling into traps of the extremists. Extremists interpret the Quran according to their will and portray a violent image of Islam that is far from the manner in which Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HP) showed. ?? ?????? ?? ? ????????????? ?? ?????, ? ?????????? ?? ??? ?????? ?? ?????, ?? ??? ???????. ??? ????? ???? ??? ??? ?????????? ?? ????? ??? ?????? ?? ??????????? ??? ???????? ?? ???? ??????????.
