Fatimah (PBUH) became very ill as she was injured terribly in the attack to her home, which took place after the demise for Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HP). During her illness, she sometime got up to do the chores of home, or sometimes went to Prophet’s (PBUH&HP) shrine; and sometimes she used to go to Hamzah’s (PBUH) shrines of other martyrs of the battle of Uhud with her children and cried out her grievances there. On one of these days the emigrants’ (Muhajirin) and helpers’ (Ansar) wives, who were informed of her illness, visited Fatimah (PBUH). In this visit Fatimah (PBUH) expressed her ??????????????? ???? ???????? ????????? ??? ??????????? ??? ?????? ??? ???? ????? ????? ???????? ????? ?????? ?????? ??? ???????’? (????&??) ??????? ????? ??? (????); Prophet (PBUH&HP) had warned his companions of Islam’s deviation from its right path should there be a dispute about Ali’s (PBUH) succession to him; and he had also mentioned the blessing which could have been given to them as a result of accomplishment of their religious orders and obeying Prophet’s (PBUH&HP) real successor.
Further, it was in these days that Umar and Abubakr went to visit Fatimah (PBUH). Fatimah (PBUH) reminded them Prophet’s (PBUH&HP) statement: “?????? ?ℎ? ????? ??????ℎ ????? ℎ?? ???? ?? ????? ??? ??? ?ℎ? ??????? ℎ?? ℎ?? ??????? ??.” They confirmed that Prophet (PBUH&HP) had said such a thing. Then, she took Allah (SWT) and angels to witness and said: “??? ??? ???? ???? ?? ????? ??? ????? ??????? ??; ??? ? ???? ????????? ???????? ?? ??? ??????? ????? ???? ?? ???.”
